GRANT GUNSTON Managing Director
"Passionate about Gunstons and mediation"
Grant Gunston is a pioneer in seeking models of best legal practice. Grant started the firm Gunstons Attorneys in 1995, and has practised in a wide range of areas of law over the years. These areas include (amongst others) commercial law, property law, litigation, and administration of deceased estates. He is also a duly admitted conveyancer.
Before studying law, Grant worked for about 5 years in the corporate world, gaining management experience and completing a BA degree in Politics and Psychology, followed by BA (Hons) in Psychology, both part time through UNISA. Having decided that a career in law was his true passion, Grant then went back to university (full time at UCT). He regards this as one of the best decisions he has made, as he thoroughly enjoys law and legal practice.
Grant’s current focus includes managing and growing Gunstons Attorneys and its dispute resolution practice. He is accredited in commercial and family mediation. This not only offers clients additional options in helping to resolve their disputes, but is also reflective of the client-centered and creative approach Grant adopts, always looking for the most effective solution to clients’ needs.
